Tuan Haji Shorbaini Abdul Ghani, aged 63, is an experienced entrepreneur who has spent more than 36 years working in the construction industry. Haji Shorbaini together with his wife, Hajah Zainun Othman Fuad jointly founded Perembun in 1991. Prior to setting-up Perembun (M) Sdn Bhd, Haji Shorbaini was then undertaking smaller and mid-sized construction jobs with Pembinaan Sri Nakhoda Sdn Bhd.

Haji Shorbaini obtained his Diploma in Building from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in 1978 and followed by an Advanced Diploma in Building, UiTM in 1990.  He later earned a Master’s degree in Integrated Construction Project Management from UiTM in 1999; additionally he also  took up an external course certificate in Group Problem Solving conducted by the International Centre for Strategic Thinking, University of Western Sydney-Napean, Australia. 

As Executive Chairman of Perembun, Haji Shorbaini has personally overseen the steady growth of the company over the past two decades by sharing his visions, steering the corporate strategy and providing his overall leadership to the  company.

As one of the co-founders of Perembun and with 6% shareholding in the company, Hajah Zainun formerly served with Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) before joining Perembun full-time and assumed her current  position of Executive Director in 1991. Her wide knowledge and experience in human resources and office administration, together with her resourcefulness, have been vital in ensuring the company’s stability over the years.
